It may have rained 60 percent of the time Drew Geraci was in China, but he still managed to come home with stunning footage of some of the country's most remote villages. Using a DJI Phantom 3 drone, Geraci and his crew explored temples, mountain ranges, and other landscapes to show the scale of what a remote village in the world's most crowded country looks like.

The video seamlessly switches between bustling city scenes and details of ancient temples, showing off just how versatile China can be.The 20-day journey resulted in a minutes-long cut called "Rising China" featuring of some of the best scenes. Check it out:
